We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel De L'Abbaye in Sauxillanges. The value for our money was excellent, and the room was nice and clean. The location was perfect, right in the center of a charming little town with plenty of parking. The staff treated us like family, they were always available and helpful.
The hotel breakfast menu could have been a bit more vegan-friendly.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the center of a peaceful village. It was clean and had recently been renovated, with new carpets and a great lift. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always available. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh bread and excellent croissants. There was plenty of parking right outside the hotel, which was very convenient. a great location near the river, in the center of town, and in the square.
No issues.

Food and drinks were delightful. But, I should have brought my ridiculously tiny shower cubicle as a carry-on. Irons seem to be royalty-only.
Who needs a functioning key card or an honest breakfast bill? The village and hotel look charmingly decrepit.
